Kansas City Royals Honor David Glass With Patch On 2020 Jersey

The Kansas City Royal recently announced that they will be honoring their former owner David Glass with a patch on the 2020 jerseys. David Glass passed away on January 9th of this year. Glass had recently sold the team this past off season.

David Glass was the owner of the Royal’s for that past 20 seasons. During his ownership he help to bring a World Series title in 2015. Glass was also the CEO of Walmart back in the 1990’s.

The Royals jerseys will display the patch on the right jerseys sleeve. The patch will be round and will display David Glass’ initials, DG. The initials will be royal blue with a crown adornment above the initials.
